JOURNEY WITH ME TO MIDDLE EARTH

This spellbinding event will be full of mystical elements, enchanting and elaborate costumes and all played out in front of two gorgeous backdrops to give our sets authenticity. You will get plenty of time to photograph our girls individually and then together in order to give your images lots of variety and enhance your storytelling.

Here are the four mesmerising characters that you will meet along our way…

Arwen Undómiel made famous in the movie 'The Lord of the Rings' by the beautiful and luminous Liv Tyler.

Éowyn, shieldmaiden of Rohan full of feisty, heroic energy willing to die for love

Royal Elf of both the Noldor and the Teleri, Galadriel, the Lady of Lothlórien is a paragon of ethereal beauty and terrifying power.

Lúthien Tinúviel an Elf Maiden of Doriath. Part elf, part angel who follows her love to the underworld sacrificing her heritage to become human reuniting with her love in life again.

As always, I will work on a first come first served basis to make it fair to everyone.

Join our friendly family of Creative Photographers

These very special events are suitable for creative photographers of ALL abilities, new and experienced and are also a great opportunity to make new friends as well as up your photography game.

All we ask is that you know how to use your camera as we will not be covering camera basics. I recommend that you bring a DSLR, a couple of your favourite lenses (I use either 35mm, 50mm or 24-70mm lens.) And if you have a particular prop you’d like to use to bring your own unique ideas to life, you are more than welcome to!

Full details of the photoshoot will be sent to you a week before the event is due to take place in order to fully prepare you.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

The total cost is £175 and you can secure your booking with a 50% deposit of £90 with the balance of £85 being due 7 days before. Tea, coffee and refreshments plus toilet facilities are available. Please ensure you read the event Terms and Conditions as your booking confirms you have read and understood these.
There will be a MAXIMUM of just 4 photographers in attendance at either the morning or the afternoon sessions to ensure everyone gets quality one-to-one shooting time with the model. Also, this works well from a health and safety point of view. Events that sell out quickly will be held again but with different outfits and models for variety.
As always, I will spend a lot of time designing the ‘look’ and the set plus, pay a lot of attention to the little details that make my events so popular. You can be sure the model will be dressed in bespoke costumes, vintage dresses and have a variety of unique props for you to use if you wish.
THE PRIMARY AIM OF MY STYLED SHOOTS IS TO PROVIDE THE PHOTOGRAPHERS SOMETHING UNIQUE. Everyone is encouraged to think about how they can use the set up to create something that is INDIVIDUAL AND BESPOKE. After all, who wants to have the same images as everyone else??!
The handpainted backdrops all beautifully frame and support the timeless fine-art aesthetic that is so well-loved by portrait photographers and artists throughout the world and I’ll change up the lighting to suit the theme as always to bring the best out of the photoshoot.
Yes! You are also welcome to use the props I have in the studio to ensure your images are unique and tailor made to your own interpretation of the sets.

Don't worry! I am on hand to help you with any adjustments you need to make to either your camera settings or lighting. Although I can't cover basic camera training at the session, I'll always help with your settings to ensure your images are correctly exposed. Oh, and I’m a dab hand at throwing fabrics around! ;)
